Life Science Toons & Teasers
Uncle Sam's Christmas Smokers
LifeScienceHistory.com: Where history is made daily -– delayed by COVID-19 is coming, and we apologize
for the long delay. Our new site will bring you the history making news of the present and past in an image-based format,
sourced and linked for more information, along with a a "real time" daily updated industry directory, jobs postings
with human customer service, patient resources, "Genealogy Posters on Demand" and much more. A new feature relates
to the lighter side of life science that we call "Toons & Teasers" where we include select cartoons, posters and other
images from yesterday and today related to the FDA, hazardous products, health crisis, regulations and other issues.
A special feature are our own original cartoons. Conceived by Phil Ness, the illustrator is Mark
Reeve, an award-winning political cartoonist on The Mail On Sunday for three and a half years, and who has done work for The Economist,
GQ, DC Comics, book covers, storyboards, film visuals, animation, and much more. The illustration style is that of the
classic Thomas Nast (1860–1902) called
"The Prince of Caricaturists" in 1873, and today is considered the "Father of the American Cartoon."
As we prepare for our new site launch, we will pause our new cartoon creation and instead share historical cartoons
from our extensive collections which we encourage you to explore below. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our new and
old life science related cartoons! You can also
